Here you will find the General Terms and Conditions, which are of great importance for our restaurant and our guests. Scope of application.
There are contractual conditions between the hotel guest and Ganz & Gastro GmbH.
These are explained below.
Room rates.
The prices communicated by the hotel are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT.
Cancellation policy.
Up to 21 days before arrival free of charge.
From the 20th day to 14 days before arrival 50%, less than 14 days before arrival 100% will be charged.
Cancellations are only valid in written form.
Early departure.
If the guest departs early, the hotel is entitled to charge 100% of the total booked services.
The hotel endeavors to reallocate the unused services in the event of early departure.
Arrival and departure.
Your room will be ready for you from 2.30 pm.
Check out is by 10.30 a.m. at the latest.
Late check-out is possible on request and subject to availability with a surcharge: 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. CHF 30.
12.30 – 15.30 CHF 60.
Services which are not included in the room rate.
Room cleaning
As we want to continue to offer our rooms at a reasonable price despite rising costs, our rooms are not cleaned daily.
The chambermaid comes every three days and changes the linen.
We also offer daily cleaning for an additional charge, please ask at reception.
Road use Stöckalp – Distelboden
The road is maintained by the Kerns Corporation.
There is a charge of CHF 25 for up to 24 hours, CHF 5 for each additional day or part thereof.
Liability.
The hotel assumes liability for damage and loss to hotel furniture caused by the hotel guest.
Rules and regulations.
Smoking ban
There is an absolute smoking ban (including e-cigarettes or other smoking products) in the hotel building.
In the event of non-compliance, Ganz & Gastro GmbH has the right to claim damages from the guest, including any loss of income incurred.
Smoking is permitted in the predefined outdoor areas.
Night’s rest
Out of consideration for other hotel guests and hotel staff, we ask all guests to strictly observe the night’s rest from 10 pm.
Allergies.
Guests are requested to inform the hotel of any allergies prior to arrival.
Further provisions.
– The hotel accepts no liability for damaged luggage or loss incurred during transportation.
– If the journey cannot be made due to force majeure (e.g. weather conditions), the hotel may withdraw from the contract.
– Any costs incurred will not be covered by the hotel. Travel insurance is recommended for this purpose.
– The place of jurisdiction is Sarnen, Switzerland. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
– The hotel reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time.
– No liability is accepted for lost items in publicly accessible hotel and restaurant premises or in outdoor areas.
– Rooms and the outdoor area are unguarded.
– Motorhomes, camper vans, delivery vans and trailers are not permitted in the parking area.
– It is only possible to park briefly in front of the hotel for goods handling, and passage must be guaranteed at all times.
– Parking for these vehicles is available in the public parking lot at Stöckalp or Dempfelsmatt.
– Vehicles belonging to persons not staying at the hotel may be towed away for a fee.
